Justine spends her days behind the counter of the Retail Rodeo discount store. At home, her husband would rather smoke pot with his buddy than offer much in the way of companionship. Justine longs for something more from her life so when a quirky new cashier appears at the store, she thinks she may have found a kindred spirit and a chance at happiness. But her bid for freedom quickly engenders a hornet's nest of complications. Director Miguel Arteta and writer Mike White expertly shade their edgy comedy with genuine emotion and precise details, enriched by Jennifer Aniston's nuanced performance as a woman caught between her sense of duty and her dreams.
